The application process for the show is CLOSED for the North and South Hall, Motorcycles and the Concourse for the 2024 show. Acceptance and non-acceptance correspondence will be mailed out to everyone who applied 1/1/2024 to 1/15/2024.
There is some limited availability in the Hot Rod Asylum. The cost is $50/per vehicle. If you are applying for the Hot Rod Asylum, so be sure to get those applications in as soon as possible.
The show will start taking applications for the 2025 show on Monday August 5, 2024. The 2025 show is slotted to return to the I-X Center from March 28 – 30, 2025.
Hot Rod Asylum: LIMITED AVAILABLITY
The Slick Devil’s Car Club are going back to its roots and “It’s – It’s the Ballroom Blitz” as the I-X Center Ballroom opens its doors again for the 2024 show. The Hot Rod Asylum will feature vehicles OLDER THAN 1949 including cars and trucks that have a nostalgic appearance. Post-war vehicles that are custom sleds or gasser inspired will also be eligible. All vehicles will be screened by the Hot Rod Asylum Registration Committee. The Hot Rod Asylum hosted by the Slick Devils Car Club will feature “The Straight Jacket Award” as its Top Award and will also showcase the invited Dirty Dozen. The awards ceremony for the Hot Rod Asylum will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 4:30 pm in the Ballroom.
