Hot Rod Asylum Application

NOTE: ALL VEHICLES ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION ARE $63/PER VEHICLE (INCLUDING BICYCLES)

The Hot Rod Asylum will feature vehicles OLDER THAN 1934 including cars and trucks that have a Nostalgic Appearance. Post-war vehicles that are custom sleds or gasser inspired will also be eligible. All vehicles will be screened by the Hot Rod Asylum Registration Committee. The Hot Rod Asylum hosted by the Slick Devils Car Club will feature "The Straight Jacket Award" as its Top Award and will also showcase the invited Dirty Dozen. The awards ceremony for the Hot Rod Asylum will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 4:30 pm in the Ballroom.

‍NOTE: ALL VEHICLES IN THE HOT ROD ASYLUM ARE JUDGDED BY THE HOT ROD ASYLUM JUDGES AND ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE HOT ROD ASYLUM TROPHIES ONLY.
All registered vehicles in the Hot Rod Asylum will receive two (2) all-event participant badges, one (1) three-day event parking permit, one (1) event t-shirt and one (1) outdoor trailer parking space.

Neither Global Spectrum, L.P., dba OVG360, I-X Center and Convention IX Center, LLC, the show manager, sponsor, nor any other officer, director or shareholder of any of the foregoing, or the owner of the building at which the show is produced, or the show producer (collectively the “I-X Parties”), shall be responsible or liable for any personal injury to you or any person affiliated with you, including but not limited to any person or minor under the direction and/or control of you and you, on behalf of yourself and any such person and/or minor, as the case may be, hereby waive any such claim for personal injury. Additionally, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the I-X Parties against any claim for personal injury by you or any person and/or minor under your direction and/or control. You hereby assume all risk and shall be solely responsible, hereby waiving any claim against any third party, including but not limited to the I-X Parties, for any loss or damage to all or any part of your personal property, which shall specifically include, but not be limited to, your vehicle, trailer, display, material and/or parts. You hereby expressly waive any and all rights that you may have against any of the I-X Parties for such loss or damage. You agree to obtain insurance covering the above and assume full responsibility for any loss or damage. I hereby apply for space at the I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama. If accepted, I acknowledge and agree that I will be subject to and will abide by the Show Terms and Conditions, in addition to all of the I-X Center Building Rules and Regulations, which can be found at www.pistonpowershow.com. You agree that this signed Application supersedes any and all prior and/or contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, between you and the I-X Center Parties. Nothing herein shall be modified unless consented to by the I-X Center in writing. Both parties agree all disagreements will be decided by arbitration in the County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio.
